We are set in the Patrick Moore Room of Colden Common Community Centre. We offer a bright, modern purpose built environment with great accessibility. We have lots of resources including book corner, arts and crafts table and computers. Children can choose exactly what they want to play with from our self-select area and our home corner is extremely popular. Little ones can role play, making dinner or looking after the dolls. It can also be a train station or shop. Children can dress up in our costumes and special clothes here too.
Not only do we have an onsite kitchen where we do cooking and prepare our daily snack, but we also have two toilets within the setting, completely separate from the Community Centre ‘s washroom facilities, and exclusively for the use of the children of the pre-school. We also provide step up adapters helping little ones gain confidence and independence when going to the toilet.
We also have a lovely book corner with comfy chairs and cosy cushions that children can access whenever they want.
